Prayer update (2)
Hi everyone!! Sorry for updating the letter so late.
I’ve been living in UK for 3 months now. As I told you before that I have so many things to do in one day.
Every day I have to study English and do ministries. Half day is English lessons and half day is ministries time.
About my English class, everything is going well! Although I’m so busy because we have lots of things to do and we have to do English homework everyday. My first test was great. I’m in Intermediate class which is the highest. Thank God for the first test result because I had a highest score. And I’ve just finished my second test.
Elco Programme is not just English class but we have projects every week and ministries. About the ministries with my church which is Brickhouse church. We start to get used to them and enjoy working with them. On every sunday, we lead the worship, which is very good opportunity to use my gift from god to serve him. In my church, Every peoples are so nice and love to talk with us. Our church service starts from 10.30-12.30. Every months will have one sunday that we have family service, which we have to come to church in the evening too. In family service, we will play puppet and dancing and have a bible stories. Another main ministries is after school club with Brickhouse school. It was good because we have opportunity to talk with children and teach them about God through puppets, Bible story video, Dancing and so on. We show about our country every monday and on this sunday (12 July 2015) It’s my turn to show about Thailand. I’m so excited and I have been praying a lot for this. I have to make banana soup
( Thai dessert) for them too. I feel happy because kid’s ministry is one thing that I like.
Extra activities that I did is leading the worship in OM Lifehope. Thank God that I had a chance to sing and praise him. Last month we had sabbath day which was the day that every programme and everyone will stay together for three days. I led the worship with my team and it was so good. I could feel God’s love through the songs that I sang. Another Big event was evangelism day, all elco students had to work together and did drama on the street, Dance , worship ,talk with people on the street, Face painting, Ballon modelling. I led the worship on the street and dancing and talk with people. It helped me so much to have courage to talk with british peoples and improved my English skills.
Now, we do have 5 weeks left for Elco programme. Next big event that I have to do is culture night that I have to present about Thailand. I’m so excited and worried because I’m only one Thai students. I have to make Thai food for everyone. Next event is Elco Prayer night, we normally have prayer night on thursday from 7.30 till 10.30 pm. We have to lead all the programme. I’m in the worship team as usual.
After Elco Programme finish, I will Go conference to the Netherland as a volunteer with my two brazilian friends. Thank God that we can go with one staff here because it’s cheaper than to take the plane. We will travel on the van for 1 day and we can see many cities.
Thank God for many things that I do here and this is my prayer request
1. For my culture night that I have to present about Thailand on 20 July 2015.
2. For Elco Prayer night on 23 July that I have to lead the worship and for all Elco students to lead the prayer night.
3. For peoples and children that I’ve talked about God.
4. For Go conference from 15 August to 29 August that I will be in a good department as a volunteer and for our journey to the Netherland.
5. For my English test result!!
6. For my health because sometime I ate too much 55
7. For my Brickhouse church and the members in the church
8. For Om lifehope!! because now they have a serious problems about finance.
